On Nintendo’s livestream held on February 9, 2022, Nintendo announced some of the new releases coming out this year to the laude of die-hard Nintendo fans. They include but are not limited to:
- Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes – A new action game and spin-off of the original coming to the Nintendo Switch in June.
- Nintendo Switch Sports – A new version of an old favorite on the Nintendo Wii, this version will feature all the favorites such as Tennis and Bowling, along with new sport games such as Soccer and Badminton.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – The acclaimed RPG series from MonolithSoft is getting a sequel, where players will be able to explore a new world taking inspiration and connecting previous iterations of the game.
In addition, new DLC was announced for Super Mario Kart 8.
