Award winners for the 2021 Game Development World Championship are set to be announced as part of a three-day streaming event starting on March 15.
This year’s event sports over 2,700 game development teams competing for recognition and include game developers, students, hobbyists, and others who are interested in game development. With the number of submissions, organizers are calling this the largest competition pool ever.
For the first two days starting on March 15, virtual spectators will be treated to a showcase of the finalist games accompanied by developer commentary and game industry recruitment tips from professionals. In addition, aspiring professionals will get the chance to network with industry professionals, newcomers and more.
The event will then conclude on March 17 at 18:00 GMT (12:00PM EST) with a livestreamed awards show where the winners will be officially announced. For more information, and to register, visit this link.
